Hi Arlene
Sen has decided that for this semester to schedule regular meetings of his research staff (Rad, Kerry, Kate, Shoaleh, Jake) and his administrative staff (you and me) on Tuesdays at 4PM. Would it be possible for you to reschedule your work day for that time? We'd also like you to take minutes at the meeting so we have a record of decisions we've made.
Thanks for your consideration,
Stan
January 17, 2006
Hi Arlene
OK. What I'll do is record the meeting and you can write up short minutes from that (just the people present, date, place, and outline of decisions should do it). Would that work for you?

Hi Stan, it is not possible for me to be on campus that late. I do still

Hi John
Thanks for taking my call while you're going out the door last Friday.
Here's a couple more things that Sen wanted to bring to your attention:
1. Could you arrange for four anchored eyehooks to be installed between the gables under the research desk just like the ones you had installed in the room's perimeter so we can chain down our computers in that area? You might have to have them installed BEFORE you install the research desk depending on how they get installed.
2. Are you arranging for seismic security angle irons to be installed to earthquake proof the audiometric testing booth?
Thanks again for your help.

I have checked on the phone for you and requested an upgrade in the phone
for you. As for the phone books I have also requested them and sould be
here soon.
For the RECEIVED stapm would you please give me and account number?

Hi Peter
Thanks very much for all of the help you gave us on the printer and projector last Friday. It was very useful.
As you may know we're going to install the projector on the rafters in 7504EDUC pointing down to the screen. To prevent a trapezoid effect on the screen (does the projector you recommended to us adjust for that?) we thought we would install a mounting shelf that can be lowered (and raised) so that the projector will project more horizontally (if it doesn't adjust electronically). John Briggs suggested that the projector manufacturer might have such a shelf. Could you check for us and advise on what to do?
Also, could you give Arlene's computer in 7500.1EDUC access to a printer (either physically if you have a spare or through the wireless)?
Thanks again for everything,
Stan

After spending several hours trying to figure out how to make the Plone calendar operational, I've still not succeeded. From what I understand from the instructions, we could use the Apple iCal, but how to link it to the existing calendar you've already installed is still a mystery. I think I need permission to get into the Engrammetron Plone calendar? Any other assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ninoosh
Could you have the locksmith or security person adjust the outside doors of 7504 so that the pins extend at the top and bottom of each door? It may be as easy as releasing the door handle so that it extends all the way allowing the pins to penetrate the top and bottom holes designed for them. Ken MacAllister said that the outside doors of Phil Winne's lab 7506 need the same adjustments.
Thanks

As an interim measure, I advise you put up some reproductions of FN art

Signage is very important to give you a profile and the logo art would solve
