Why Help?

Scientific, technological, and engineering accomplishments throughout history have been expedited in one way or another by mathematics or mathematical thinking. Mathematics is all around us, and everywhere we look. It is in our art, in our architecture, and it is evident throughout nature. Helping teachers and learners to become conscious and comfortable with the various manifestations and machinations of mathematics is the primary concern of our work.
